Apivita Aloe Vera mask is a must-have in your beauty stash

Apivita Aloe Vera mask

Why it’s worth

Hydration is the key to healthy and glowing skin. Since my wedding makeup artist advised me of this skincare holy grail 1-2 times per week for an evening skincare routine, the Apivita Aloe Vera mask became an inseparable step in my regular skincare as advised. As a result, I enjoy my healthy, glowing, and well-hydrated skin the next morning.

Key Ingredients:

  • Aloe Vera
  • Hyaluronic acid
  • Rose extract
  • Jojoba oil
  • Wheat oil
  • Shea butter

Shiseido Synchro Skin Self Refreshing Foundation 30ml by Shiseido – REVIEW

Shiseido Synchro Skin Self Refreshing Foundation 30ml by Shiseido

Foundation: Shiseido Synchro Skin Self Refreshing Foundation 30ml by Shiseido

Shade: Birch 210

CLICK FOR MORE about the foundation:

“A weightless foundation, with ActiveForceTM technology, that synchronises with skin and self-refreshes nonstop for a 24-hour just-applied look and flawless finish”

Skin Type: Sensitive Combination skin

Skin undertone: Neutral

Skintone: Light

Skin shade matches: YSL All Hours Foundation – BD20 – BD25

Results: It’s not the cleanest foundation that I have tried, yet it’s on the best and most suitable for my skin type. I wish to find a dupe with identical performance but clean ingredients. Recently, I tried Juice Beauty Juice Beauty PHYTO-PIGMENTS Flawless Serum Foundation 30ml, but the performance of the foundation is different and I cannot call it a dupe. I’m happy with the performance of Shiseido, which lasts for 10 hours. I need powder touch ups during lunch time. I do get oily on my T-zone, but it’s just the nature of my skin and I found that it happens on a daily basis, no matter which foundation I would try. The foundation is buildable with a lightweight feel, without caking while applying more layers. It has light to medium coverage and doesn’t settle into the fine lines. Personally I don’t like matte full cover foundations, because it looks heavy and cake on my skin after a few hours of application (Bare Mineral Matte powder screw you!).

  • Buildable
  • Lightweight
  • Doesn’t settle into fine lines
  • Easy to apply with brush, sponge and fingers

  • ingredients : Silicones – Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, BHT, Phenoxyethanol
  • Slightly tacky on my skin

Application tips:

Real Technique SpongeThe formula spreads evenly and enables buildable light to medium coverage. However some part of the foundation sinks into the sponge.

Real Techniques Expert Face BrushApplication with this brush is smooth and even. The coverage is fuller than with the sponge, because the foundation doesn’t sit as much.

E.L.F. Cosmetics e.l.f. Ultimate Blending Brush  – similar application to the Real Techniques brush, however some strikes may appear and you can even it with the sponge.

Kabuki Brush from Amazon – the most even, smooth and full coverage application. No strikes appear with this brush.

Swatches – Shade Birch 210 – I feel like the foundation might be a tone dark for me, still I believe it merges with my complexion very well. I’m considering to go for 1 shade lighter – 160

Few months ago I had a pleasant experience of testing FILORGA Time Filler Mask. And it was very pleasant and smoothing experience indeed. The mask has very good ingredients and works like an iron for wrinkles. The skin feels plump, moisturized and soothed. The effect is very visible next day – numerous compliments from colleagues can work as a proof.

Filorga is a well-known French beauty brand with very professional approach to aesthetic medicine and anti-aging beauty for very reasonable price range. Above all it’s very effective thanks to the customized lab formulas from high-class ingredients. I personally really like this brand and it’s approach to beauty. I also have Filorga FILORGA Oxygen-Glow [Cream] 50ml which I’m currently testing and I’m really happy with this experience so far.

Use: Can be used morning or evening after cleansing. Leave for 15 minutes. If needed you can massage the mask with fingertips. It’s advisable to use it twice a week.
